Isle of Bute and Cowal Peninsula
The Isle of Bute lies in the Firth of Clyde near the Cowal Peninsula. She has been quite popular as a holiday resorts since the olden days and also for visitors of Glasgow.
The Cowal Peninsula is also known as the maritime gate to the Highlands.
The Isle of Bute itself is very interesting as you have gently rolling hills and lush meadows in the South as well as moorlands in the North and beautiful sandy beaches at the coast. An absoulte haven for hiking, cycling, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts.
